Received a call offering a free tablet, declined as I did not believe they were calling from Vodafone themselves, and hung up. Then received a seemingly automated text message from Vodafone advising the call was genuine, but the grammar in the text was poor - "infact", "you wasn t sure", "removed you from our list of customer" - so I can t be sure if it is genuine. Surely a big company like that would check something so simple?

Called today Asian sounding, alledgedly BT regarding internet speed. Only answered because its my local no. suspect a scam but not certain
Unsolicited nuisance calls from a telemarketing company called www.converso.co.uk. They handle several nuisance call clients, including Scottish Power. You cannot call back 01702308869 as it leads to an unmonitored voicemail but you can call Converso directly to get your number removed. They can be contacted on 01702 434555 or +44 (0)786 051 9728.
