Scam telephone call purportedly from Amazon telling me my prime membership will be auto renewed
My RAC membership ends in a few weeks and they call every few hours, presumably to try to sell me a new policy. I don t answer and they never leave a message. I checked my renewal documents online and the price they quoted was much higher than last year, for the same cover, even though I haven t used it at all. AND the cost breakdown included a ?50 "arrangement and administration" charge! ?50 to "arrange" a renewal, take my money, (I pay in a lump sum), and update my documents online? I do not think s

Missed a call from this number but checking it out on the Internet it is a virtual London number which can be purchased and used from abroad pretending it is a London based company. Beware don t call them back.
Called and started the usual PPI nonsense. I interrupted and said I wasn interested and hung up. He rang back saying how did I know I wasn t interested when I didn t know what he was calling about. After a brief back and fore he asked if I was always this rude and eventually hung up. I called back and got cut off. I rang again and by chance got put through to the same guy. I asked for his supervisor and was told he was the supervisor, so I asked to be put through to the complaints dept. he said I could find
This number is from Viet Nam Nghe An. 08438684634 rings once then hangs up some kind of scam. Don’t answer when it rings, I think it charges calls to the mobile numbers they ring. Nuisance calls.
