Fraud When I answered this call there was an automated message seemingly from the DWP stating that my National Insurance number was going to be stopped because of fraud. The message asked me to press 1 to speak to an operator. I was then transferred to an open line where I could hear a lot of background noise, like a call centre, nobody said anything and then the line went dead. I then called the number back and a business selling plastic answered. Why people do this is a disgrace.

Scam. Call related to the warranty on the washing machine having expired. The machine in question was purchased some 20 odd years ago!

Do not call back as you get fake response saying number dialled not recognised in fact this connects and shows your number is live and responsive. This is a cold caller scamming all different types of reasons
It left a automated voicemail trying to get me to call a number back. Just ignore.
