Spam call Claimed to be HMRC. Challenged and they hung up on me

Said they needed solicitors details as there was a legal claim against me. Calling for revenue and customs. Asked my why I sounded doubtful about their legitimacy.
A text (from a mobile phone) pertaining to be from Lloyds Bank, asking me to verify a payment due to be taken from my account. Its a scam, I don't Bank with Lloyds. This site suggests the phone is in the Russian Federation - Moscow.

Nuisance call, recorded asking questions about an accident, at first it appears it is a person not a recorded message. It stops after asking question then asks another question....
phoned my mother in law several times whom is a housebound 94 year old whom lives in clacton and has no car! luckily she refuses to answer a phone.

Keep getting calls from this number over several days and several times of the day. About oven cleaning and BBQ cleaning I just hang up. Have blocked this number on my handset now and reported them to ICO. Are registered with TPS but looks like they only deal with human people phoning you and actually talking to you type of calls.

Had two phone calls one after the other then another three days later!!
