It was a recorded message with a very polite womans voice stating she was from bank security advising that there was two suspicious transactions from my account one was £300 pound from Amazon and the other was a card transaction from abriad of £1300. The recorded message then asked me to press ONE to speak to an advsor. I hung up the phone immediately and called 1471 the call was timed at 1345 hrs on 26-01-2023,
Hung up as soon as i answered. Now on my blocked set of numbers.

SCAM - Heavily accented man telling me my Amazon Prime account is set to renew and would I like to cancel it. When I said yes, I'd like to cancel it, he tried to get me to download Anydesk onto my PC. I told him outright that I knew he was trying to take over my computer and he became very aggitated.

It s second time they called. First time the called saying they have information I had a car accident. I have not even a car!!! I asked them how they got my number and did not want to answer and they just hung up. Second tome they call just one ring signal and hung up. Do not call back if they call you!!!

SCAM He knew my name and said he was from The British Finance Department. "The British Finance Department?", I asked (perhaps a little incredulously, ha ha). He ended the call.
