Didn't answer as I wasn't expecting any calls from this type of number. From what I could suss from another site that this is classed as scam.

Aggressive sales call, lie about who and when they have spoken to directors etc. Not very good at their lying as quickly found out. Have checked phone system on days that they say they called and no call from them to the person they say they spoke to. Also say they emailed and that wasn't true either.

Txt message saying from British gas asking for meter reads. Not sure if it's a scam but safer to log onto your British gas account and submit your meter reads there. Normally companies like this would not use a mobile number and it would show as British gas and not the actual number

Fraud. Pretending to be Amazon and that if you dispute the £700 transaction on your account, press 1. We all know where that scam goes to ......their pockets.
