This number called today saying he was calling from the call blocking service and wanted me to confirm the expiree date of my bank card. Refused and he dropped the call I refused

SCAM / SPAM Received a call from this number saying they were HMRC and I had to press 1 straight away or a warrant would be issued against me. Sounds legit! This is a scam do NOT press one, hang up immediately and go about your business
Purported to be from a call blocking service. I couldn't track this to a legitimate service and the call was to my mother's who claims to have cancelled all sorts of services. Suggesting neutral for now but not sure.
I got this call today (used to get them ages ago) considering I don’t drive due to epilepsy, rather annoying. Next time I’ll be asking them under GDPR regulations to remove my information.
Scum. Sub human scum. Ppi scam. Utter bullshit. Ignore them. Dont give them any details or cash over the phone. Or at all.
