Call arrived whilst I was in the republic of Moldova. I work with victims of child-trafficking in that region and my number is only used for emergencies from agencies relating to the subject. Consequently, I tried returning the call with several connections, but the call eventually dropped out. When I returned home discovered I still had to pay for the calls at a rate of GBP£1.27 per connection, plus the same cost for having answered the incoming call! Caveat Emptor!

Silent call so who knows except we get a lot of scam calls from various mobile numbers so this is almost certainly another auto-dialled one.

This is an aggressive scammer. Do not do as he says by any means, report him if you can. I don t know who to but he is a criminal.

SCAM: Second call today pretending to be from Portadown. This time, an automated male voice saying something like ‘Dear customer, there is a purchase of an ipad on your account. If you did not make this purchase press 1 to connect with purchase department.’ Scammers!
