Scam call, recorded message saying that I had committed tax fraud and there was an arrest warrant issued in my name. That I needed to press a number to talk to one of the tax representatives. I just hung up and blocked the number.

4 days agoReceived two call today . The first one I did not catch before it rung off. The second one was from a female with a foreign accent with poor English with was a red flag. She said was from MS Markets and wanted to talk about share in a company I owned. Please be warry if you receive an unwanted call from this number. Reply

Hilariously bad phonejacker scam. Claiming to be HMRC. Approach, protocol, etc are a wrong. Sadly people may fall for this due to aggressive of approach.

Not sure of company name but (she, indian accent) was telling me my monthly maintenance charge for tv repair/maintenance was dropping from £7 a month to £5, I asked her to repeat who she was and what she was offering, again didnt catch the company name, I asked was she calling on behalf of Virgin (my supplier), the line cleared and she hung up

They did not provide their company registration ID although asked for it several times. They have a list to call with names. This must be scam.
