i keep getting calls for a road accident. it is by name so how? this i understood was sold to them by DIRECT LINE against my permission.

rang many times over many day finally excepted call, said thank you too me for giving to their charity, and had I any time to listen to their up date, I said no as busy at work...

Claims to be registered to Lloyds Bank, suspect this is a hoax number
Brechin (Scotland) cloned number allegedly from 02. A scam offering 40% off your O2 account. - I know it is a 100% scam as (a) I have had one of these calls before and (b) I ceased to be an O2 customer 4 years ago. Suspect someone hacked their site or an ex-employee has flogged their data to scammers. Foreign guy said he'd send a special code in a text/email but to not divulge it to anyone - probably because everyone gets the same and they don't want you to compare notes!
Called back & straight to no connection - I'd say spam call centre
