Number unknown, which I usually ignore but as I m waiting for an overnight package I wondered if it was them calling re delivery, so I answered. It was a female caller with (what sounded like) a Chinese accent. She said she was calling on behalf of Telephone Preference Service. I didn t believe it and hung up - but they have rung another twice since then (4 hours ago.)
Been receiving copious amounts of calls from this number & decided to answer today. They asked for directly but I wouldn t confirm that it was me until they told me who they were & what they were calling me for. After numerous refusals, they finally decided to say they were a UK wholesaler company offering me products at a reduced costs. I told him that I was not interested & before I could ask them to remove me from their database he "tutted" & hung up on me. It is clearly a SCAM, fingers crossed they don
