He asked "Are you disabled",replied "what a thing to ask"! said "I m in a meeting, not free at the moment" "What meeting". With that I got fed up with playing along and rang off.
Blocked. I've had about 5 calls from this number.
Automated call from some twats trying to scare folk with respect to their NI number being suspended. Absolute nonsense, ignore it and block it.

Call center -operative claimed to be from Virgin Media Technical Services; said he needed me o take my (landline phone) into the room with the computer, then turn it on, so he could do something to my router, to "give me the speed [I] was paying for". I've had at least four calls from these guys (with heavy Asian accents, to the point of not being able to be understood); it is the same script, but the calls have come from a number of different phone numbers in the West Midlands. Decided to listen and they took me onto both project documents, one was too big for us but the other was just over their £50,000 banding and was local so we asked to price the work. Persistant caller despite my number being registered withthe TPS. They do not remove your number from their listing no matter how often you tell them to do so. Report them to both the TPS and Direct Marketing Association who have investigated their practices before.

This was a call from refund on a BitCoin account I had 5 years ago, that I never traded with and closed down within weeks of opening. The chap couldn't give me any background or was willing to listen to what I had to say. I made it evident that I wasn't comfortable about going on my computer to access an account and he got rather aggressive in his tone. I said I wasn't happy with his tone and he turned it on me. In the end he was very rude and put the phone down on me.

You get robocalls until you pick up from one Bournemouth number, then the next day you get your "local" energy adviser calling you - just got rid at that point so unsure whether a scam, but certainly unsolicited, and since my number is in the TPS database for not getting unsolicited calls, you can bet your life it's a dodgy company not bothered about following the law or regulations.

SCAM / SPAM Caller said he was from Domestic & General Insurance and was ringing as my cooker cover was due to expire - I've never had more than the standard warranty on my cooker, and it's older than the couple of years ago he said I'd taken out the policy. He knew my name and address and said the company was TPS compliant, but I'm TPS registered so that's a lie too.

Caller hung up as soon as I answered, which in itself is fine, but I received three local calls over 5 days that did the same and it feels strange.
