I have recently received a call from "HMRC". The computer informed me that a tax fraud case had been opened up in my name. I was then passed through to an operator who refused to provide any credentials and seemed to get rather aggressive.

SPAM number comes as originating in Viet nam, join it up Vietnam. So it’s bound to be something one should not open.
Used to be the number for BBC Television call—in shows, you can see programmes on YouTube with the old London STD codes. Saturday Morning children s shows, GhostWatch etc...

Thought it was a scam but rang Lloyd?s on the number on the back of my card and this was a guenuine text. My card had been compromised and they alerted me after declining the attempted transaction. I too was worried about the mobile number but their fraud department said they have a lot of numbers in use dependent on the activity. They recommended that if you are unsure ring the number on the back of your card and you will be put through to the right department and have your mind put at ease. Thank you Lloy
