SCAM:Indian sounding man asked for me by name, had my address & post code. Asked where he had got this info., and that it was all total rubbish. He said that my washing machine warranty had run out. I told him he didn’t know what washing machine I have and I don’t have a warranty on it anyway. He then changed tack and tried flattery, saying that I had a lovely face. It's a firm of solicitors called Elite Chambers; one of those 35% +VAT vulture companies that need to find new prey since PPI is no longer a thing. Horrible, horrible people.

Called about 30 times, including in the middle of the night, and then hanging up when I answer. Finally got an actual call, and they claim to be calling for "further details" in response to some made up issue. Scammer.

Fraud pretending to be carphone warehouse but checked and this is not a legitimate number and their email address (order.confirmation@salescarphonewarehouse.co.uk) is also fake
A robot voice called me from this number, told me that this is from HMRC, that I'm under investigation for tax fraud and that I shall call them back under this number. I don't believe that this was really HMRC.
