An automated call claiming to be from HMRC who told me there was a warrant out to arrest me and if I didn't press 1 I couldn't speak to anyone about it. I assume this is incorrect but the line went dead when I didn't press 1. They didn't use my name. Assume this is potentially dangerous

Very muffled call. I knew when I heard the background noise it was PPI so I just played along for a laugh. Claimed it was refund department and I just kept asking which company etc until he hung up in frustration. A good laugh!
