They said they were calling from HMRC, however HMRC never calls mobile numbers. SCAM Received call at 9.45 this morning caller said he was from Microsoft and there was a problem ,Told him I do not have a computer he put down the phone immediate .this was a scam call nasty if you are not aware all calls purporting to be from Microsoft are scam calls they would never alert you by phone Beware
SCAM Woman with strong foreign accent claimed to be from 'BT technical department' (immediately obvious not genuine) and said they had received notifications that my internet was being used by others fraudulently. Pointed out BT not my provider which she ignored, she then tried to guess some letters from my email to 'send me a verification' and when I said that wasn't my email, accused me of lying!!!! Presumably hoping I'd supply my actual email.
Call saying from Visa card saying 2 transactions taking place on my card. But no identity of which bank. Probably scam.
