Recorded message claiming to be from visa credit card saying £600 had been taken from it press 1 to stop the payment. I didnt press 1 and put the phone down as assumed this was a scam.
Spam call supposedly from carphone warehouse. I said "I have no contract with carphone warehouse" - and the guy replies "oh, that's ok that's ok, I'm not selling you anything. I just wanted to call and tell you that I love you so much, and I want to marry you". At which point I'd hung up.
I got 4 weeks free insurance as part of my vet s new puppy package. Phoned for a quote for comparison reasons. Now they keep phoning to ask if I m going to take out a policy. I told them from the outset that I would phone them back. Their sales technique has put me off using their insurance.
