SCAM Either someone trying to coerce you into investing money in shares along side an 'expert' trader, or some idiot from India claiming to be from Carphone Warehouse, claiming you are entitled to a new phone...... All they want is your fredit card details. This number changes slightly, so could have one or two digits difference, but the location is always the same, central London, boiler room scam, 100%
keeps calling, answered a few times and no one is there. reading other comments lucky not had to actually speak to them. blocked now.
SCAM: Received a text to my mobile , supposedly from MY BRITISH GAS saying ' We were unable to accept your amount due, visit mybritishgas-uk.com to update'. Looked it up online, as I'm NOT with British Gas, and yes, it's a phishing text to get your bank details. Apparently the site it leads to is very realistic, and people have been caught out. Seems there is an email version too. Number blocked!

sounds like a cold call. i have blocked it as if it was genuin they would have left a message.
Said that they had been told that someone in the household had an accident in the last two years. When asked to identify themselves, rang off. Draw your own conclusion. I ve tagged the number as Spammer

An Indian sounding lady called to say I owed money on a three sim only contract with them. She claimed I had started a new contract with them in May. This was untrue as I had transferred my contract to Smarty when my contract had ended with them in June. Conversation got quite heated and I asked to speak to a manager. SCAM Indian sounding call centre type call. He alleged to be from BT open reach and he claimed to be calling because they’d noticed a problem with our broadband! ???????????? Yeh, yeh, yeh!! I normally have to sit on hold for at least an hour to report any problem with my broadband I laughed and asked him if he wanted my bank details and he hung up! I’ve now blocked this number
