However it was confirmed next day when a call came from a slightly different number, 01614357985. Other sites informed me a large number of people had been called similarly. Seems to be some call center, I can see more similar numbers (all the same range - 1618142xxx, just last 2 or 3 digits different) reported here already - mostly as insurance marketing, PPI - car accident chasers, "1st call group" or "Pensions Advisory Service". No idea who is behind it, they left no message, no VM. I really don't answer unknown numbers, tried to dig some info about this number first on internet, but no luck so far. People did someone answer it?

Got a call from an asian sounding bloke at 08:00 this morning claimimg he was from the Monistry of Justice and that I was due a £6251 from overpayment in fees to my bank. Said I would get the cheque from a courier, David French, with a Job ID of D102. The reference for the refund was 32568, which was most important.
