called to say I was in a car accident when I asked who told them that they hung up
SCAM This is a scam number, when answered, it plays a voice recording claiming to be the national crime agency that your NI has been suspended due to a fraud investigation against you. These scammers must be really stupid if they really understand what is the purpose of NI!
Sounded like an Indian call centre. Said he was calling from life benefit or something. Wanted to know my name and when I refused started making funny sounds.

This is the second call in as many days from what appears to be a valid UK phone number but is most likely a cold caller masking their own number/ID and falsely making the call look like it's a UK number. I rang back the 'UK' number that phoned us the day before and it was a private individual living in Worcestershire. Neither she nor her husband had made the call. The Call Guardian phone has been worth its weight in gold as it deters 99% of cold callers - those that announce their names are then blocked

I am sick of this organisation calling me. Blocked, along with all the other numbers they are using to make cold calls.
