no one on end of line, i could hear other background chatter but then it rang off. checked here and have decided i ll block them..

Decidedly a scam - 0114 7xx numbers haven t even been issued yet - I think they re still working through the 5xx series.

I don't answer unknown numbers, and I don't call back if no message is left by the caller. That is my policy and I WILL NEVER change it, unlike politicians!

For the last 3 weeks I had 8 + calls a day from 01412786082 and the many other phone numbers shopping direct debt collection department use about a outstanding debt I have with them . Funny thing is the account they say is in arrears was paid via a direct debt payment plan and was cleared 3 months ago . Contacting the ICO tomorrow re this harassment .

Had several missed calls, no message ever left. I have since answered one of them, the lady had my name, number, street and started to try to sell me something? I stopped her and asked who she was again "Money club, part of the groupon group" was the answer. I have had several calls from this and other numbers,they always hang up when I answer.This only started after I went online,a few days ago,to get some car insurance quotes.Silly me!I gave out personal information to several firms,now I am getting nuisance calls.So,this number may well be insurance industry related.My advice,never give your telephone number to someone you do not know and trust.
