Been called by this number and was told they were a driving school who wanted my services as a driving instructor but sounded very unprofessional using the words "basically...
01202627797 called today. It was automated and said they were from Visa fraud team. They were holding a payment of £800 (and something) pounds which was a suspicious payment on a gambling site in America. I was told to press 1 if this wasn't me and to be connected to the fraud team. Obviously I just hung up, searched the number which didn't come up with anything, I checked my bank accounts and rang the bank's fraud number. As I thought, it was a scam.

said calling from BT internet security due to risk to my online devices. said to them they are not from BT and cut the phone. my previous experience is they will say to visit a website and login so they can access my network.

Regularly calling back with apparant "offers" wanting you to donate to charities or sign up to some kind of scheme. Whether it s legit or not i don t know but they can call up to 5 times a day.
