I don't answer any numbers that I don't know, I block the number immediately after I look it up, regardless of its origin, mobile or landline. I have been scammed in the past and I have been assured that non-answer and blocking is NOT illegal and I have to look after myself first and foremost!
had a Scam text message reporting to be from Santander: we have noticed unusual activity on your account please reset your details via a web address. i don't have a Santander account.

very intimidating, said would be arrested for tax evasion today if did not pay and they would not send any documents over! obviously a scam but very convincing, Said they worked for a law firm!

Just had call from this number, sounded Chinese, strange, how they have my number, could it be a coincidence, that this new phone is a huawei
Asked for my father, he passed away over five years ago. I asked who was calling they said UK Home Save. I tried to question them further but they hung up.
