a man that sounded as if he came from india or pakistan called me Wednesday 24th February 2016 at 5.40pm while I was in my car in traffic with my 2 kids in the back. Wanted to sell me something. I asked repeatedly who he was, where he got my number and where he was calling from. He hanged up. He immediately called me back and all he said very loudly and aggressively YOU F****** B**CH! and hanged up. I was very upset and the kids were distressed. I called the number back and it immediately want dead.

Annoying foreign sounding 'we see you've had a minor accident' type insurance sales(?) pitch

Cold caller ... Just told them straight away I wasn't who they was calling for (lol) told them to take my name off database not had a call since. Works every time.

The number is spoofed by the scammers and the call is not from within the UK.

The point of the scam is to find gullible people who will believe what they say. They are crooks who once they find a victim will ask them for personal details and /or credit card/bank details "So we can proceed with our refund to you" They then commit identity fraud or empty your bank account. This number keeps ringing me daily, I keep missing the call (Not sure if it just rings once or not), when I try to call back, it s not possible. Who is this and how do I block it??

Received this call on 16/10/20. Do not know anyone from Glasgow. I m going to block it, and also the call from Canterbury

Person with an Asian accent (after a delay) introducing himself as Peter Thompson purporting to be from BT claimed someone in America was using my IP address and accessing emails . Asked what devices I was using to access the internet. The scammer wasn t afraid to argue back aggressively when I told him in no uncertain terms I knew this was an attempt to hack in to the internet.
