A man with a strong Indian/Pakistani accent called and told me he was calling from BT as my broadband connection was to be updated. He asked me to turn on my router and my laptop and the update would automatically start to download. I said that there have been a number of scam calls asking people to do this, would he mind if I hung up and called him back. Codazone been robbing my mum for weeks. Extra £17 on her phone bill and yet she plays no online games like they are claiming. Googled the number and found this and despite sending STOP it continued. I contacted o2 for help and they gave me a customer service number for codazone but when you press option 3 for operator the call just ends. Has anyone had any success in claiming the money back.
