Never leaves a message, number permanently engaged if you try to call them back

Just got a call from this number asking for someone with the correct surname and initial but different first name. I said they had the wrong number; she then asked me if we lived at an address that I d never heard of; I said no; so she asked me if we lived in an area without mains gas supply; I said no. She thanked me for my help, and that was it. I have no idea what it was all about???

Any info on this number? They're ringing me four times a day

Received several missed calls from this number. Rang it back and a man answered by saying "Yeah". I said I had a missed call he then said he could offer me a new contract and beat what I am currently paying. I said I didnt need a new phone. He then said I can get a contract for ?9.50. The point of the scam is to find gullible people who will believe what they say. They are crooks who once they find a victim will ask them for personal details and /or credit card/bank details "So we can proceed with our refund to you" They then commit identity fraud or empty your bank account. Obviously you were the ones they were looking for for them to steal your hard earned money from. Unknown caller, calling repeatedly.

Apparent cold call; it rang off when answer machine responded.

Guy called "Jim"c asked for me and said he had 30 tickets reserved for my daughter (he used her name) @ 45euros for 5 Irish Lotto tickets. Claimed to be fromm Winners Lotto, gave the number (confirmed by 1471) and a website winner lotto.org. website exists but I wouldn t trust it.

Not a very imaginative company name, I think the caller said the first thing that came into her head when asked who was calling. Information fishing call.

Second call from this number. When I phoned 1471 to find out who it was I got the message "This number is not accepting incoming calls at present. Please try again later". Obviously a scam.

22 Nov 2021 - Called claiming they were from Carphone Warehouse. Asked to speak to their manager and they said they were busy in a meeting and would remove me from their database. Definitely spam avoid at all costs. Reply

Initially called in December about my Google ads but told them to call me back in Jan after I could assess situation. Did call back, nice polite guy but told him I did not need their services, he was disappointed but still polite! Website says based in Brighton but actually based in Pakistan.

Called saying it has come up on their system that I have had a car accident in the past 2.5 yrs blah blah blah.

I ve been getting calls from this number on and off for a year and two things happen I answer and total silence or they attempt to make me buy a higher priced data pack and when I state that I don t need a higher priced data pack and even if I did I would just change it directly with their app they start getting more aggressive about it. My sister also just got a call from them and I just told her to hang up if they start poking for personal details which they did, me and my sister have blocked this number
