had a call pre-recorded call from this number claiming someone was trying to carry out a transaction for £900 from my Visa Debit Card (not specific about which one) and asking to confirm if it was me. Seems dodgy.

SCAM This looked like a local number BUT it was a recorded message purporting to come from Amazon about a sizeable sum taken from my account for an order and to press 1 if it wasn't me who made the order. Needless to say I hung up without pressing any numbers.

2022.07.18 at 13:37 my phone showed ‘International’, with the number 0049 1375 381293, which looks like it came from Germany (0049), but with a local code that was the same as my own ((0)1375)... anyway a recorded message claimed it was from 'bank security', that two large withdrawals had been made on my account, inc one from Amazon, and that I needed to press a particular number to speak to them. This is obviously a SCAM and an ATTEMPTED FRAUD..

This number called me at approx 11.27 am. Caller addressed me by my first name but that was all I could understand, the noise going on in the background (His) drowned out everything else he was saying. I would describe the noise as though he was calling me from a very busy PUB. I told the caller this and hung up. No attempt was made to call me back. SCAM

Recieved call from man with thick accent. Couldn't understand him and he didn't seem to be able to respond to my repeated questions about why he was calling me or where he had got my number. Came up as a roofing supplier number on my phone, although a web search for the number also lists it as an MOT centre. Might be a genuine business, but definitely an unwlecome call.

SCAM, supposedly O2, I am not on O2. Call came through at 02.25.
Scam, they are calling using numbers from Birmingham, Manchester, Leeds, Bristol and using Mobiles. If you call them out on it they instantly hang up. I've had the same man on the phone 8 times now using different numbers.

I had to block them previously as they would not stop SPAM calling and now they have a new phone number. Cleverly they've linked their web page up to Airbnb's page so when you look for support, it will take you to the legit page, but the booking page is a complete scam! It'll reject your payment when you confirm your booking and offer you the option to do a wire transfer. The scammer will give you "Airbnb's bank details" (confirmed by an agent, Airbnb do NOT have a bank account) to place your deposit into.
