SCAM as they say it’s from LLOYDS but I don’t have any Lloyds accounts
Man called - said his name was Sean Cruz - said he was from the Citizens Advice - got my details from the Office of Fair Trading. Said his address was 24 Lancashire!! I pressed him more, said his address was 24 Heather Ave, Lancashire, 208 001 Tried to get details out of me, I would not confirm anything. Told him I was registered with TPS and he should not be calling. He told me he s been getting away with these calls for years and TPS were useless. Unsolicited and unknown silent cold call to a TPS number. Beware this number, do not give any information to them, suspect scammers.
Called to offer me a better rate on my mortgage. I don t have a mortgage and they asked if I wanted my details removed, I said yes and was told this could take 1 business day. 23 hours later I received another call, I ve since had a call yesterday and today. Next time they call I m going to get the full company name and complain to the ICO.
Keep getting calls from this number. Can see from other comments that it s something re. RTAs (haven t had one touch wood!). Def won t answer any calls from this number - time wasters.

The person knew my name and address BUT the wrong postcode - it was way off! As I said it was the wrong postcode they asked me for mine which I refused to give and told them as they had the wrong information I was not the person they needed.

I had a email apparently from Meta (Facebook) to say this number (07956836341) had been added to my Facebook account and with a link to report this if it wasn’t me who added the number. The date on the email was wrong (Friday 6th June 2023 doesn’t exist). The link asked for my FB password so I didn’t continue. I checked my FB security details and no number had been added. It looks as though this is a scam to try to access FB passwords.

Government ‘type’ Recorded message. Caller was a man and speaking in a very English urgent alarming voice. Informing me of multiple fraudulent use of my National Insurance number ant that unless I pressed option 1 now proceedings could be taken against me also with cancelling my access to my accounts etc.. or something along those lines. Luckily I took the call on my iPad so wasn’t able to press option 1. Which is just as well as I tried to thinking it was genuine at the time. It would frighten many.
