SPAM - i work at a hotel and this number has phoned repeatedly and no one is on the end of the line then the line goes dead, cannot call the numbers back as they are not in service - also call on 3 or 4 different numbers other than this

Getting 2 calls a day from this number, mostly no one on line which is then disconnected and several occasions they have questioned pensions. I have asked to be removed from call list which has not been done. number now blocked with the other 160 nuisance callers.

Called this number back & she claimed to be from HMRC who apparently have served me with two warrants around miscalculation of Tax. They apparently called at my home on two occasions during lockdown when I was home and not allowed to leave me house. She was very plausible, giving me a name, badge number and warrant ref numbers. SCAM said they were from BT and that people were accessing my internet. When I told her to stop telling me nonsense as I was an expert in IT she told me to stop lying! I then asked if she had called me a lie and the line went dead.

Had a voicemail from this number saying I won £250 in vouchers. Haven't yet called them back.
SCAM The guy knew my name but wanted to "verify" my address and I didn't want to do that threfore he snapped cursing me. Obviously I started cursing him back and he eventually hang up. BEWARE!

The blighters rang me again with their wretched recorded message telling me it was not too late to claim. I was under pressure, about to send an urgent email. I want to see these people prosecuted. If I thought I was entitled to a p.p.i. refund I would claim it myself, not pay some parasitic firm to do it for me and get half the money. These people are dangerous. They catch out innocent people.

Claims to be a company called UK Talks. Definitely suspicious if not scam or fraudulent. Website does not show numbers which call. The numbers they call from frequently change, the latest being this number. 01997 280702 is also one currently used by them. 01212 840668 used to be theirs but is now discontinued.
