SCAM First I received a silent call from 028 8505 1239 (to verify a working number?) Then within 5 minutes, I started getting whatsapp messages from a very attractive female profile asking when I was going to visit her using the number 07727214429. Looks like a scam to me.

We are a small charity and the person dealing with HR not in & I explained I wasn't willing to pass details on unless they told me what their company actually wanted/did still just mumbled his own name & insisted he'd ring back. Claimed to be from Council Housing Association calling about reported repairs needed to my property. I was confused and asked what he meant as I am not in a council house. The voice on the other end repeated themselves, I told them again I am not in a council property and an automated AI thanked me for my time and hung up.
A chap from a loft insulation company. Seemed genuine but I had my doubts, he didn't tell me what company he was from. He didn't pressure me into buying anything. Just said my loft insulation was inefficient, I just put the phone down and blocked the number.

Funny how over the last week, I have been getting calls from Manchester on my mobile. They alway hangup before it goes to my answer service. This has to be a sales call or fake service that has picked up on my number, otherwise they would leave a message for me to get back to them.

Number 01322 936144 is a Telemarketing Scam! If ever you don't recognise the number, DON'T SPEAK and JUST LISTEN! If you don't hear anyone, and after a short pause the line goes dead, then congratulations you've just successfully escaped being scammed! This is because it was a computer calling trying to establish if your number was a voiceline. If you'd spoken your number would be logged as a voiceline and some clever con artist would be phoning you later, so now you know. If ever in doubt always hang up!
