This company is very aggressive and uses several tactics purporting to be an energy supplier or meter registration dept. They are energy consultants without qualms and trying to scare end users into agreeing a contract over the phone by saying that they are on extortionate out of contract rates, etc. Best way to deal with these people is to say you have signed a long-term contract and therefore not interested in their services. Sounded like an Asian call centre. The callers voice was faint and I cold not understand what they wanted. Since this is a mobile number and the caller appeared to be in a call centre I consider it suspect.

I just received a call from this number at my phone. When I picked up an automated voice said to call Victor asap. WTF? After searching the internet, I found this number to belong to a debt collection agency called Zinc. Not sure why they are calling me as I have no debts.

Called our company asking for the branch manager to carry out a survey on energy contracts & customer satisfaction. Told him it s all decided through head office so our branch manager wouldn t deal with it. He then asked if he could call back at a more convenient time, (obviously didn t listen to a word i d just told him!) at which point i told him no he couldn t call back at a more convenient time, no thank you & hung up on him. Logged him on our nuisance call list to be blocked by our telecoms company

Second call from this number. When I phoned 1471 to find out who it was I got the message "This number is not accepting incoming calls at present. Please try again later". Obviously a scam.

This number called me today while I was in class and my phone started flashing I looked at it under the table and it said it was from Manchester

We accepted a call from this company as we were in the process of trying to get a lifeline installed, due to coincidence we ended up with them visiting. Clearly cold-calling/ambulance chasing. Accept at your peril- in person sales technique equally as aggressive and alarmist (no pun intended)!!

Said it was from EE, offering to apply a discount to my account. Not sure about the authenticity of the caller so declined.
