Indian woman - Fiona... Knew details. Ignored me on my answers. Then asked for a minute of my time to answer questions. Asked about phone provided. I hung up after 60 seconds. They rang back twice to talk to answer machine.

Fraud - claim to be from HMRC and there is a warrant for your arrest. They say don't hang up phone call otherwise they will record that you tried to run away from arrest and they will be waiting at your place of residence until you arrive to arrest you. With the pandemic, lots of people have had trouble paying tax, so it might seem real, but this is a scam. They will always give you a chance to work out a payment plan. Avoid, block.

so angry, now had 5 calls from this number, and can t call it back, nobody speaks. Rang us at 11.15pm and again between 1 and 2am last night. registered with TPS but they can t stop it and BT can t help unless we pay for a blocker and different phones. It turns out those businesses are their other client's debtors too and they use their private data illegally. Unfortunately we fell for this scam and paid. If you look carefully. You will find very vague Companies House details, the actual business is dissolved where they've taken money of lots of people and just closed it down, they have no registered company at Companies House (
