Number called twice, purporting to be from Caernarfon. Hangs up on answering. In my experience this is an auto-dial check to make sure that a real person answers the number. I will no doubt be getting calls from the Indian subcontinent, with the caller using redirect software to make the call appear to be coming from the UK. Its a genuine debt collection agency. After checking on here and seeing everyone saying scam I thought I d check with HMRC first. I knew I owed the money so after checking they were genuine I phoned them. I knew I couldn t pay the full amount so I offered £50 a month and they were happy with that, they didn t try bullying tactics or anything. They re not the boogeyman.
