Received a call on my mobile at around 11.30am, and was told I had a refund via PPI from a credit card or loan. Had to ask me which one and from which bank. (Should know all this before calling me, how else would they know if I m owed anything?) Besides the point, I have never had a loan and the one credit card I had was from over 10 years ago and has been delt with a long time ago, so I know I m not owed anything. SCAM / SPAM I received an automated voice call from this number at 12:31, supposedly from Amazon Prime informing me that over £70 had been deducted for my membership and I should press "1" to speak to someone to discuss this. I hung up. I am not a member of Amazon Prime and have had calls like this before. I expect if I had spoken to someone, they would have asked for my bank account details so they could cancel it.

Caller told me they were from visa and someone was trying to use my card for something costing over £900. It said I should press 1 to cancel or 2 to go ahead. Its obviously nothing to do with Visa so I pressed nothing and hung up the call immediately.

Claimed to be from my internet provider (didn't know who that was, when asked), but claimed to know that I was not getting the internet speed I should.
