Unsolicited recorded message re boiler repairs. Presumably a bogus number used to circumvent Caller ID checks.

I had a guarded conversation with the caller who, as mentioned above, was calling on behalf of the RSPCA. Apparently he wanted to confirm details for Gift Aid purposes, which raised suspicion in my mind as there are always boxes to tick when completing donation forms for any charity. He did have my name and postcode already and was very polite, but clearly working from a script. I have not ever donated by text.

Total menace 2 or 3 calls a day at present; "have you had an accident etc etc??". Asked to be taken off their list, bloke took details, next call received within the hour.

tell them to take a hike and write you a letter. harrassment via telephone - i don t answer!
