Amazon scam. Recorded message tells me I have ordered an Apple Ipad through Amazon and to press 1 if I want to cancel so I did as I like to string them along. All I got was a repeat of the message. What a strange scam if they don't even have the opportunity to get any information!

Indian accent rang three times in one day, first twice appeared no one on the other end, third time they spoke wanted to know what make washing machine we had. told to mind their own business and not to ring again.

There seem to be many unknown callers. They tend to stop after six rings, so we simply let them stop without picking up. Annoying, all the same.

They said they were 'Life Check', and they were calling since I was overdue on reviewing my alleged life insurance. I asked if they had a website. The caller got shift...

One of the numerous telephone numbers for a company called CAH or Claims Accident/Advice Helpline-avoid at all costs!!

The caller gave this number saying they were from Google about my entry on google maps and that they were going to help me fix the problem I had to get customers to find me. There s nothing wrong with my entry. So I played along and when asked for my name said it was George Bush. Apparently I should get a call back later today as I said I was too busy. Beware, this is just usual scam.

Got a call today from a foreign woman claiming to be from "Consumer Lifestyles" asking me to do a survey on my "lifestyle" ie shopping habits, likes and dislikes, all the usual crap to illicit personal details from you and even how to stop unwanted calls!! Boy, did I laugh especially when I said "Like the one your giving me now!"
