Seems to be used for some telemarketing call center - this range of numbers 17734055xx (common feature, they use more numbers of the same range) is mostly reported with PPI, insurance claims, but also energy schemes - Scottish power. Just block it if not interested (I use the app from these pages, no problems). Folks did they call you with the same or something new?
the scam call from 'microsoft' saying my computer has been hacked yea really!!! We have an Apple, called me a fu*ker then silent - wonder why? haha
Gave name as John Abrahams from BT who said my broadband connection was being compromised and I needed to log on to find out who the hackers were. I asked for their number to call back and they gave me this one. When I called it was answered with 'Hello, this is BT' Call originally came from 02089030400 which didn't pick up when I called.
This line should belong to some company, but no remark on internet about it. Haven't found any info for this one, does anyone have some experience with this number? Be aware if this number calls, it is for a shared costs, so better not to call back.
Called Telegraph Sales team and got them to manually remove my number - we ll see if that works - but imagine if we all did that ? Brilliant. It s 0800 33 20 20
