I was asked about my pension history and whether I had a PIP. If I did the government have announced that I should be able to reclaim over-charging, particularly if my pension pot was more than £10,000. I asked for details of their website and she gave me theirs where there is no reference to this. Also mention gov.co.uk (which is obviously gov.uk) and I can find no reference to what she said. Also nothing on Moneysaving Expert, my go-to place for this type of thing.

Rang once, couldn t understand name of company but heard PPI, so put phone down, rang back immediately and the male operative said, "Why did you put the phone down", I replied, "Cos I m not interested". He answered, "Interested in what" in an angry tone, so I just said, "In whatever you re selling" and hung up again. The phone then rang again immediately and I didn t answer. Didn t like the tone of the call at all, or appreciate being rung back a further twice.

Caller had an obvious Asian (Indian sub continent?) accent and did not identify himself or the company he was calling on behalf of. He wanted the previous subscriber of my phone...

someone please call this number back and play a game on them as revenge! these are probably telemarketing or collection numbers, DO NOT ANSWER! DON T GIVE IN TO THEIR TRICKS OF MAKING RANDOM CALLS AND THEN HOPING THAT 1%-5% OF THE ONES THAT ANSWER DO FALL FOR THEIR TRICKS. Was called on work phone and asked to participate in survey. As not catching it the first time, I repeatedly asked the girl who she was working for, but she only repeated her own name. Very likely she said David Knox.

Said he was from BT and that my internet had been hacked. Didn't believe him.

This was Durham County Council, they were trying to arrange a visit to come out and see me about a "query" on my housing benefit claim.

I have had a call from this number on my landline every day for the past two weeks. I do not pick up as I have caller display but it is quite annoying as it rings at all different times. There should be a way of stopping these calls.
