When I said I was retired, she said I wouldn’t be eligible for a tax rebate when I asked what the reason for the call was. She signed off.

Fraud: Bank scam. Suggests they are from your bank (but they don't tell you which one because they don't know) Informs you by automated call that large transfers have been made out of your account (which is rubbish). They hope you will be daft enough to talk to them so they can obtain your bank details. Why the Police and Telephone companies still allow these fraudsters to operate it beyond me.
The caller claimed to be from Vodafone Network, offering discounted tariffs and handsets. Asked for an excessive amount of personal details.
I rang this number back and I got an automated voice mail that said the number was terminated due to breaches.

I had met my ex wife in college and we were a big part of each others push to sucess. we have been good all through our 15 years of marriage not until I noticed she's been distant and wanting to keep more to herself. I wasn't bothered at first since she can be like that sometimes. this went ahead for quite a while, then I became overtly suspicious when I asked to use her room desktop and she refused. It was a recorded message saying "this is your bank. three withdrawals have been made on your card this morning...." and went on to list various sums. No name of bank, no name of card or card holder. The number used is not listed by my bank. Very suspicious.

Rang off as soon as the realised they were rumbled and I was running reverse tracing on them. South African IP and call number spoofing.
