Caller asked to speak to marketing/website person for the company. Told him no one was available, said he would ring back, I asked who was calling TWICE, he ignored that request and put the phone. Although very polite, he was rude. He wont get through next time he is going on my blocked caller number list.

"Brian" called from this number. He called me last week from a different mobile (which I blocked) introducing himself as "Barry". A couple of years ago I had all my windows replaced by Crystal windows, got several calls from them asking if I needed any further work doing on the house, I said no and please remove my number and stop calling me, i m still getting calls from them. don t give them your phone number I wish I hadn t.

The point of the scam is to find gullible people who will believe what they say. They are crooks who once they find a victim will ask them for personal details and /or credit card/bank details "So we can proceed with our refund to you" They then commit identity fraud or empty your bank account. Obviously you were the ones they were looking for for them to steal your hard earned money from.
