SCAM / SPAM this number texted me pretending to be from paypal telling me about unusual activity on my account and asking me to follow a link to make it right, instead I just logged into my paypal and discovered that the phone number they texted me on wasnt even linked to my PayPal account. Phishing scam.
Called me at 1:51 in the morning, woke me up, I said hello 3 times and got no response. Very irritating!

As a Three mobile customer with a brand new number who doesn't share my anything on social media and is very wary of who has my number I suspect the Indian call center staff who work at Three is selling my details no other people have my details.

Received a call from this number today on my mobile asking for me by name. When I asked who was calling he refused to tell me before I confirmed who I was. I hung up.

I had a email apparently from Meta (Facebook) to say this number (07956836341) had been added to my Facebook account and with a link to report this if it wasn’t me who added the number. The date on the email was wrong (Friday 6th June 2023 doesn’t exist). The link asked for my FB password so I didn’t continue. I checked my FB security details and no number had been added. It looks as though this is a scam to try to access FB passwords.

rcvd a text from this no, asking me to call back URGENTLY and that they d tried to contact me. they hadnt, and I don t know who they are, so they can do one.
Fraud suspected. Text message claiming to be from The Post Office regarding a parcel that wasn’t delivered because I was out. I was home all day. Text arrived at 2.26am and why would the post office text me about a parcel, especially at that hour? How would they know my mobile number? Obviously dodgy. Didn’t click on the link in the text and blocked the number.

I tried to call the number back but it was not recognized.
They asked about a car accident that want my fault. I asked where they got my number from and he gave me some nonsense about the rta department . Which obviously doesn t exist. Then the man seemed annoyed with me and hung up. I never did find out how he got my number.

Fraud - Robo message saying "This is 'bank' security, we have detected an unuthorised transfer..." Its a definate scam! What bank? If a transfer was "Unauthorised", then it should have been declined by the issuing bank, if not, the 'bank' would be liable! Reporting these calls to Actionfraud is a waste of time - nothing happens and it is a difficult process. It is about time this matter became an election issue! It is actually pretty simple to fix with current technology
