Scammers!! They clone the other genuine business and impersonation them. Report them to stop them.1. report to ‘action fraud’ google ‘action fraud’. Go to the ‘police. UK website. Click on the ‘report a phishing attempt’ page. Read through the information. Complete the scam report starting at the bottom of this police web page. I was called by someone as part of a recruiting agency. Please be aware that companies employ call centres to make calls on their behalf. These are people who are being paid to call on behalf of other companies. If you received a call from here saying you re a claimant of some kind it means that department has been fed bad data. Please don t be horrible to the people on the other end of the phone. At least they have a job instead of being paid by benefits.

SCAM. The full number is 0049 3549 72863, which suggests it is from Germany, though the man on the phone had an Indian accent. He claimed to be from 'Sky's Technical Department' and he'd had a report that my internet was running slow. Which was strange, because I hadn't reported any such fault and my internet is working fine/ So I strongly suspected it wasn't a genuine call from Sky and hung up.

SCAM / SPAM Recorded message purports to be HMRC stating that an arrest warrant is out for a tax fraud and you should “press 1” to speak to an officer. Clearly a scam... number blocked
SCAM Call starts with an automated message telling you that there is an arrest warrant out for you for underpaid tax and tax fraud. Continued the call to confront whoever initiated the call, and it follows through to an Indian call centre purporting to be HMRC. Do not give any details to these scammers!

SCAM / SPAM This was an English speaking polite male telling me that the Government funded insulation in my loft could be causing damage to my property and he wanted to arrange a visit to examine it. Fortunately before the call went any further he mentioned the "foam insulation" and when I said it was not foam in my loft he rang off. OBVIOUSLY A SCAM. He didn't get round to asking for bank details but I am sure he would have it I hadn't realised what he was up to.

POSSIBLE SCAM A female caller "Jess" said she was from Solar Energy Advice Ltd , offering reduced cost equipment in return for using it in a promotion. I asked if she had heard of the TPS, and her silence indicated she had not. I told her that unsolicited calls to a TPS registered number, without checking the TPS list, could mean a £5000 fine for her company. Then I hung up. A Google search for the company name shows NO company with that name appears to exist in the UK.
