SCAM. AVOID. Safety Guide Ltd is a company based in Ashton Under Lyne in Greater Manchester run by Matthew Ralphs. They are a classic charity / schools publishing scam. The first you will hear from them as a business owner is a call or invoice demanding money that, they say, you promised them. Of course, you never did promise them anything, and even if you did hand over the money they ll only print out a bare minimum of copies of your "sponsored booklet". got called by this number on my mobile. No one ever calls on my mobile, except this number. I did make an insurance claim 2 years ago after someone dented a rental car I took out in Aus and didn't leave any contact details. Insurance company & Aus rental car company had my mobile number and these calls started 3 months after the prang, so I suspect my details were sold - probably by the insurance company to recoup their losses (I understand they do that sort of thing).

A phishing call, the caller had a little information, but was phishing for more. I ve been informed that limited accident is publihed on a database by insurers. I Presume they are phishing in order to action a claim. Personally I beleive these people are leeches, feeding off, and promoting the greed is good culture. The caller will tell you that he is trying to help you, he isn t - he s helping himself. Any positive response is like catnip to these people, even if you tell them you are not interested

When I answered, the woman said "was I Mr ***?" I said not. Then she asked if I were the home owner. I said it sounded like a cold call and she shouldn t be ringing me as I was registered with the TPS. Whereupon she rang off abruptly, without apology or any other kind of civility.
