This number is used by Boku, a phone collection service (based in San Fransico, USA - with supposedly Europe wide offices) that collects "subscriptions" from, normally inadvertantly, "subscribing" to on-line adverts, messages and web sites. Boku send you a confirmation text, using this number, to tell you that you have just subscribed again. The directors of the company making the calls are: Paul Lord (home address: 46a Nowell Road, Middleton, Manchester, M24 6FL) and Richard Cooper (home address: 6 Reed Close, Farnworth, Bolton, BL4 7EF). Have fun writing to them to tell how much you appreciate their calls.

Apparently they make money on you making a return call...don't ask me how but it sort of makes sense because everyone seems to have the same response.

I put my number in on an insurance comparison site and now recieve 5/10 calls a day!!! Tell them I ain t interested and still get called. Very frustrating.

I have received several calls to my mobile from this number recently. If I don t answer the phone, they don t leave a message and when I do answer it the caller appears to hang up. I am wandering if it is SPAM or a wrong number (but surely if the latter they would have left a message for someone else or spoken to me and discovered the error). I ve noticed several Manchester numbers being associated with unwanted calls to EE customers and wonder if this number is also being used by the same people/company.
