Nothing to worry about. A fireman offered to install smoke alarms in town the other day & left them at my door as I wasn't in, and just wanted to check that I'd got them okay & if I'd installed them. Really good considering it was free.
Scam/phishing (Amazon Prime subscription renewal) Recorded message, female voice: 'dear customer...' asking about payment of £79 to renew Amazon subscription '...please press 1 to talk to a customer services representative.'
I am absolutely P****d off with this scumbag keep on calling me, I do not answer when these low-life call but redial 1471 and write down this number and it has come up over a dozen times in the last few days!!!
Rang me while I was on phone. Got a missed call alert from 02 as a text, but oddly, doesn't show up in my missed call list. No message left. Weird.

Reported that my Windows PC was in trouble and he could fix it. When I claimed that I did not have a computer he rang off!
Same here, as soon as I pick up there's a clicking and it goes off.. Who are these people and why are they calling me?

the pre recorded message told me I was under investigation by the HMRC for tax evasion and told me to push 2 to find out more. this is not a method I think the HMRC would use.
I didn't bother answering then less than a minute late got acall from 0131 225 2812 and blanked that also
