Called my elderly grandad just now (isn?t the first time). He couldn?t understand him so passed the phone to me. An Indian man calling from ?Remote Security? and enquiring about a ?computer or laptop in your house? I told him we didn?t have either and he carried on trying to talk, so I repeated that we didn?t have either and to not call again and he hung up. Expecting a call again tomorrow as that?s what happened last time I told them not to call

Got a call around 16:30 - sounded like a call centre - gent with a strong Indian accent said he was calljng from Ringwood Council in Hampshire - I live in Dorset! Said something about an accident in the last two years - scam call - I hung up

Nuisance calls.

Mr Peter Johnson (Foreign Accent) Rang me and told me that my internet connection was slow. If i logged onto a site it could help speed it up. He was from BT Techical Help. Thing is i am not with BT and dont have Internet at the address that he rang me on! Numbers given me to ring as well were 0208 36 93 520 and 0137 54 12383

He is a scammer, a fraud. He used someone else s passport to rent a room, took 600GBP as security and ran away.

This number called me three times on 3/2/2016 in the space of half an hour and again today (4/2/2016). Just to confirm, after my previous post I reported this number to the police, who said it definitely is a scam, and that Microsoft would never call you about this sort of thing. These people will generally want remote access to your computer to "fix a virus" or something like that. They show you some files that they know every computer has and tell you they re harmful, which is completely untrue. They then use the remote access to steal from you.
