Missed call

I was just called by somebody saying they were from UK Financial. The said they had a cheque for me for money i was owed from bank charges. They knew my address then asked me to confirm my date of birth. I told them i was not giving it to them as i had never heard of them. When i said this they hung up!

This number called several times but left no message. As it was a local number I called back. It went straight to a recorded message & said I had been called by the NHS & would call back within 24 hrs. This is not an NHS number! My family are not under any hospitals or GPs for anything at this moment or indeed in several years. Other sites have this number reported as being untrustworthy.

Get calls every day from this number on my house phone normally while I m out at work so can t answer but on the times I have been home to answer (normally 8.30am on weekends!) they ask for some random person although I ve told atleast 10 different people they have the wrong number they still phone despite saying they will take the number off the system. Caller asked if I was having trouble with my internet. I said that I did not have internet (I lied). The caller immediately hung up.

Just had my second call in 20 minutes and ignore every time. No matter how many times you tell these people you ve paid they don t listen. I even have a standing order set up!!!!
