Missed call from this number which left voicemail, very heavy African accent, female automated voice, sounded a bit garbled. Said someone was "filing a lawsuit against you, press one now to talk to your caseworker" I ve heard of this scam doing the rounds, I ve now blocked this number and registered it with "Should I answer" app as dangerous scam.

told them to speak up as I was deaf from working in a noisy environment, also I had just been in an accident which was no fault of my own and the only insurance I had was payment protection. they did not answer

DO NOT ANSWER - Scam call from an Asian call centre, openly admitting to charging a premium rate for connecting your call. They begin the conversation stating they are a government scheme aimed at helping pay back loans etc. I received racial abuse from the caller while trying to get information out of him. Have checked all phone records to see if any charges have come through but none as yet, but am unaware if the included minutes have covered this somehow. BLOCK & REPORT.

two automated calls in a few minutes saying my amazon prime account had been renewed and to gve them a ring press 1, i do not have an amazon prime account, and hung up

Never give any information to an unknown caller, no matter how plausible they sound.

Appears to be Virgin Media, having just left them I presume they are attempting to win us back. Too little too late

Got a call today from this number. The guy didn t introduce himself but said he was from Google marketing and wanted £180 to put my page on a first page search. (I do this myself already). I said I could do what he was offering for next to nothing and at that point the caller got aggressive, I hung up him. He s obviously a chancer trying to scam people out of money. Yet another sad fool giving Manchester a bad name. I will be reporting him to Google.

Random voicemail message just saying 'hello?'

My answer phone picked up their call but all I could hear were fizzes and crackles. Sounded dodgy to me so I didn t ring back. Sounds as if I did the right thing.

I received a call from this number and when I tried to return the call an automated message said this number cannot be recognised.Seems very odd.

Automated call. Claimed to be from HMRC. I hung up before I heard the full message as I believe HMRC don t cold call people.

Didn't recognise the number so let the answering machine get it. Caller rang off without leaving a message.

Rang today and listed a stream of debts I DON T have. Hung up on me when I pointed out I have no debts. Thick Indian accent, didn t ask any security questions and also failed to tell me the name of the company twice - he got confused both times so god knows where he was meant to be calling from.
