Then around 1 hour later received a call from 0124533067 who didn't state where they were calling from but asked to speak to new owner/tenant, I said no new tenant, he said thank you and said he would remove me from their list and put the phone down, so I am assuming this is a scam.

Scam number impersonating virgin money. I received a text which appeared to be from virgin money “this is your one time passcode to debit your account (amount) to pay (company). If this was NOT you call us on 03309124638” I called Virgin money directly using their actual number from the back of my bank card to report it, it’s definitely a scam.

Seems to be used for some telemarketing call center - this range of numbers 19269121xx (common feature, they use more numbers of the same range) is mostly reported with Road traffic accident / Accident claim experts / Harringtons with PPI. Just block it if not interested. People did they call you with the same or something new...?
