Called me 3 times today. How do I get rid of this crap!

Amazon scam. Recorded message tells me I have ordered an Apple Ipad through Amazon and to press 1 if I want to cancel so I did as I like to string them along. All I got was a repeat of the message. What a strange scam if they don't even have the opportunity to get any information!

Despite registration with the TPS, I had two cold calls about an alleged car accident in which I was involved but I do not own a car and certainly was not involved in an accident on the date claimed. The caller claimed to be from a company called Solicitors Law Firm and to have got details of my alleged accident from the UK National Traffic Department but as far as I can ascertain neither organisation exists. They witheld their phone number but claimed to be calling from 01527 821239.

Caller with a strong Geordie accent asked for Mr (insert my correct surname). I live here alone there is no Mr... at my house. I asked who was calling and they immmediately rung off

Don t answer any unknown numbers, they are all scams, PPI, accident claims, Passwords for your banks, phishing, and if it is too good to be true it Bloody well is don t be conned, report all of these callers get them to be prosecuted as they are illegally calling me everyone, as under the DPA, if we report them to the Information Commissioner they have been successfully prosecuted last one was fined ( ?1,350,000 ) alone company this year

If your call is soooooooooooooooooooooo important then simply leave a message and I will decide to call you or not. If you can t be bothered to leave a message then F O and DO NOT CALL BACK. We received a letter with this number in looking very authentic with quality paper, official headings and very plausible wording. We were nearly convinced.I was very glad to be able to look up the number on this website to confirm doubts.
